Hello All

I grew up on the Fox River, where I became a fishergirl- watching my Grandfather- in his lucky fishing chair, with Grandma not far, taxing her brimmed hat to keep the sun from her face. Grandma and I focused in on Grandpa- defying gravity with his long curved ashes, that seemed at that time, to be at least a mile long. The dark brown Moore cigarette loosely in his grip, the fishing pole nestled in front of him, careful to leave a hand free- just in case.
Those years are etched in my mind forever. I find that today it is ever more challenging to create such moments. We have evolved into a faster society in which we can text, blog, call someone no matter where we are at that moment. Convienence, but at a cost. Our children are suffering. I challenge not only myself but all of you to take the time to step outdoors-go fishing- it don't cost much- but it will last a lifetime!
